Krampe sells the last jubilee edition tipper

German contractor Philipp Domsch gave himself a very special Christmas present. Five days before Christmas, he and Patrick Kollath from the Fricke dealership in Soltau near Hamburg travelled to the Krampe factory to pick up the last of 100 jubilee tippers that sport a distinctive black paint finish.

Philipp runs a contracting business near Hamburg, and his machine fleet comprises three of the limited-edition machines alongside a number of earlier Big Body and earth moving tippers: "We have been relying on Krampe for more than 11 years now, because their machines are particularly rugged and reliable. What we like about the special-edition series is the sleek styling and the extra safety package. And of course, we are very happy to have secured the last machine of the unique jubilee edition."

To mark its 100-year company anniversary, Krampe designed a limited edition of 100 jubilee tippers in 2018. The edition comprised Big Body 540, Big Body 750 and Halfpipe HP 20 machines which featured a distinctive black paint finish and a special safety package. The package consists among others of LED tail lights, side lights and position lamps plus reflective strips on the sides and on the tailgate.

The black-liveried Halfpipe naturally offers the same performance, like 15.7m³ transport capacity (to SAE 221) and 25t technical payload, as the original Halfpipe in red livery.

The limited-edition tippers of Philipp's contracting business will be seen hauling material in the Hamburg area.
